Classical Piano Lessons

Classical piano, unlike jazz is the art to playing and interpreting written notes.  What is it that makes a truly great pianist?  The pianist that can make the music come alive and play the written notes  with spontaneity, almost like an improvised composition-is what gives the listener goose pimples and sends chills down one’s spine.  Technique is only a means to an end.  The sound or tone of the piano is similar to the texture and color in a painting.  Achieving this sound is easier said than done.

Don Robin has been studying classical piano for 40 years.  Some of his teachers include Herman Shapiro, Carl Mosbacher, Julian White and William Corbett Jones

Now accepting students 10 years and older.
